Poster submission for AIGA’s 2020 Get Out the Vote: Empowering the Women’s Vote. While 2020 marked 100 years since the ratification of the 19th Amendment granting women the right to vote, these posters were created as a visual reminder that this amendment did not serve all women equally. It would not be until 1965 with the passage of the Voting Rights Act that racial discrimination was prohibited in voting.
